There are more than 10,000 religions in the world, some of which you probably never heard of or knew they existed. What is the importance of religion in our lives? Cultural Identity. Religion plays a crucial role for a person in giving a cultural identity. Each religion has Values and Ethics. Religion helps in creating an ethical framework and also a regulator for values in day to day life.
